Around Manaslu is geographically and culturally fascinating trek. First part of the trekking is mixed with up and down over ridges but steep descend after crossing of the pass. The mountains views of the trekking routes are sensational and crossing of the Larkey La is one of the most dramatic pass in the Himalaya. Much of the trek is mixed with Tibetan tradition, their culture and religion.
Mount Manaslu - 8163 meters/26775 feet, is the eight highest peak in the world and is located near to the border of Nepal and Tibet. The name Manaslu means "The Spirit-Mountain" in the local dialect, referring to the benevolent and strong deity, which dwells within. Trekking in Manaslu is one of the most delightful adventures. The Manaslu Trek is now a great tea-house trek. Some call it the best all-round trek in Nepal and it’s on the Great Himalaya Trail. Camping is not required unless you go off the beaten track.
