Trans Himalayan Overland Tibet Tour

Trans Himalayan Overland Tibet Tour

Overview

Trans Himalayan Overland Tibet Tour is one of a kind & highly popular among those seeking the exotic orient. This Tibet Lhasa adventure package offers superb Himalayan views, the once-upon-a-time thriving Potala palace, true Tibetan cultural traditions, & quiet monasteries. Your adventure to Tibet begins with a scenic drive to the Tibetan border via Kodari, the Nepalese border; from the Tibetan border we drive on through Zhangmu & on to Nyalam. This is also a wonderful drive through a lush green highway as we get to view high mountains glittering in the sunlight from the windows of our vehicles. Three truly interesting days in Lhasa allow us to explore the wonders of soaring peaks, temples and monasteries that are treasured resources of both an ancient religion and exquisite art. More significantly however, is that they symbolize the grand cultural mix of a medieval period that is today’s Lhasa – a lively booming city seeped in culture & tragic history…this is a tour to remember for a real long time to come.
